Look Up and Discover Another New York City

There are miles of undeveloped New York City real estate – and most with distinctive urban views to die for!  I’m not talking about terra firma at street level where we spend our days commuting and shopping or the warren of underground tunnels that connects the city via rail.  LOOK UP and you will find a whole new, beautiful New York City, in some cases hidden away, in others waiting to be discovered by you and me.  Read this blog and you’ll be amazed and delighted by the creative ways New Yorkers are maximizing their rooftop real estate and perhaps you’ll be inspired to create your own roof paradise.

The next post will be about a roof with fairly open access to the public that you have probably walked past many times but most likely never noticed.  Check back in a couple of days for details on this fantastic Manhattan treasure that you can enjoy for FREE!

  1. I love New York and it is because of those who live here…especially the movers and shakers…like you. Your enthusiasm is contageous. Your blog is a joy to read. Cheers to LOOKING UP!

  2. Hi Leslie:

As a fellow lover of the Big Apple, I agree with other comments posted here crying out for photos! I think it’s great that you are writing about your adventures there, and you certainly have a flair for describing your passion for rooftop gardens and how much you are enjoying your time in the magical island of Manhattan. But a picture is worth a thousand words. Please give us a photo essay to accompany your excellent words. And keep on bloggin’!

  3. Keep up the good work, Leslie…You see NYC with fresh eyes and it’s a joy for us jaded New Yorkers….
